Should I get mexican car insurance if I will only be in tijuana for a few hours?

Yes- It’s very inexpensive for a couple days and if you get into an accident- they put you in jail until they are finished the investigation to see whose fault it is and how you will pay for the repairs if needed. With insurance they will “bail” you out and cover your backside and even bring an adjuster out to the accident site to help negotiate with the police and other driver. If you run into any trouble at all with a potentially bad cop (very unlikely these days…)- or break down somewhere immediatly call 078- it is tourist help and they can speak to the police for yo over your sell and often come help– It’s an excellent service and they are very influential.
Have fun saving all that money on dental work!!

If the vehicle is repairable, then your insurance company will only pay for the repairs. Most insurance companies will consider a vehicle totaled if the cost to repair exceeds 70% of the car's value. They will not just total the vehicle because you don't want the vehicle back. Pehaps, you can get it repaired, and then sell it.
However, your insurance company should be taking care of the fees/costs involved in transporting the vehicle back to you. If the transportation costs and the cost to repair the vehicle exceed the Actual Cash Value of the vehicle then they will offer you the ACV instead of repairing the vehicle.
The insurance company is not obligated to pay off your loan.

I have back the two border guards that got thown in prison. Ignacio Ramos is one, why have you not try to help them. Latino’s is not helping there own. This two guards were doing there job and a latino att. general of U.S. thrown them in prison. So make the call. Mexicans in our county only pay county tax thats all.
